Guests have access to the entire house, hot tub, fire pit, and parking area directly in front of the house. You are welcome to use the ping pong or hockey equipment in the barn, but be aware that this is a shared space, and you may have to set up your preferred activity. You can also explore any of the public land and red cliffs behind the property.

We live on the property next door and are almost always available to assist with anything that you might need during your stay, especially if you'd like recommendations about local activities.

Only 20 minutes from Purgatory and 5 minutes from town, you're close enough to grocery stores to make a quick run before dinner, but far enough out of town to really feel like you're in the mountains. You can easily get to skiing, beautiful hikes, mountain biking, and even backcountry skiing or ice climbing, and still make it downtown for dinner at one of our many restaurants.

You'll want a car in Durango, but there is the Durango Transit bus downtown for $1 per trip. There's also a shuttle to Purgatory Ski Resort that departs downtown for $10 per roundtrip. Finally, there's the historic 1890 Durango Silverton Railroad, that everyone should do at least once!

There is room to park a maximum of four vehicles next to the property. We will ask you to remove any additional vehicles if they were not pre-approved.
